 Gangtok - Sikkim

Small but beautiful, Sikkim is situated in the East Himalayas. Spread below Mt. Kanchenjunga (8603m), Sikkim shares her border with Tibet in the north, Bhutan in the east, Nepal in the west, and the state of West Bengal in the south. Amidst the grandeur of the mountain peaks, lush green valleys, fast flowing rivers, terraced hills, Sikkim offers her visitors a rare and singular experience. It is truly a Garden State, with over 4000 varieties of flowering plants and shrubs, including 600 varieties of orchids, 600 species of butterflies, and a more than 500 kinds of birds. Gangtok is a bustling town blending its traditional mix of pagoda - like houses, prayer flags, Buddhist monks, and modern concrete buildings with the mighty Kanchenjunga in the background.

 Gwalior

Derives its name from St. Gwalipa and is described as pearl in the necklace of the castles of India. Sightseeing includes visit to the Great Fort, one of the oldest in India, situated on a isolated hill of Sandstone, 300 ft above the plain, a visit to Muhammad Ghaus tomb, a muslim saint worshipped by the Mughals, as well as the tomb of the famous musician Tansen.
