DAY 01 : DELHI
Arrival at Delhi. Welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel. In the morning city tour of Old Delhi visiting Jama Masjid, Chandhi Chowk, Red Fort and Rajghat. In the Afternoon tour New Delhi visitor President House, Parliament, Qutab Minar, India Gate, Birla Temple and Humayuns Tomb. Overnight stay.
DAY 02 : DELHI - LEH
Morning transfer to airport to catch flight for Leh and transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
DAY 03 : LEH
Morning visit Shankar Gompa on foot which takes about half an hour. Afternoon visit King’s palace and Tsemp Gompa from where you can have nice and beautiful pictures of Leh Bazar. Overnight stay.
DAY 04 : LEH
Morning visit Shey Palace and Monastery with Picturesque Gardens, Thiksey and Hemis Monastrie which is one of the main attractions in Ladakh, famous for its annual Dances and for its display of Thankas. Overnight stay.
DAY 05 : LEH
Morning excursion to Spituk and Phiyank Monastries. Afternoon free for visiting Leh Bazars. Overnight stay.
DAY 06 : LEH - SARCHU
Morning leave for Sarchu passing throughout Spectacular pases on a rocky terrain. The road displays the full-scale Grandeur of the high Himalayas. Arrival at Sarchu and overnight stay at camp.
DAY 07: SARCHU - MANALI
Morning leave for Manali through Rohtang Pass. Arrival at Manali and Check in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 08: MANALI
Tour of Manali set amidst lovely forests of towering cedars circled by snowy peaks. Afternoon free to explore Manali on your own. Overnight stay.
DAY 09: MANALI - DHARAMSHALA
Morning leave for Dharamshala situated on a spur of the Dhauladhar Range. This hill station is closest to the Perennial snowline and now the seat of Dalai Lama. On arrival in at the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 10: DHARAMSHALA
Full day free to explore this town known as "Little Lhasa". It is an enchasing world where the spinning prayer wheels and fluttering prayer flags spread the message of peace and universal harmony. Overnight stay.
DAY 11: DHARAMSHALA - AMRITSAR
Morning leave for Amritsar. Arrival and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay.
DAY 12: AMRITSAR - CHANDIGARH
Morning visit Golden Temple which is known by different names viz. Harmander Sahib, Darbar Sahib etc. This is the place of devotion and peace with continous hymn singing and music. Also visit Akal Takht, the immortal throne which was established by sixth Guru Guru Hargobind Ji in 17th Century. Then proceed to Chandigarh and after arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 13 : CHANDIGARH - DELHI
Morning visit Rock Garden which is an amazing creation of an Untutored genius called Nek Chand who has won deservedly acclaim all over the world. Also visit Rose Garden and the lake. Afternoon proceed to Delhi and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 14 : DELHI
Morning transfer to Airport to catch flight for onward destination.
* This route is little difficult as the road from Manali to Leh is not very good and there are almost no facilities on the way.
* This tour is not recommended for heart patients as they may suffer because of high altitude. |
