Soles4Souls Tour to India By State Express

Soles4Souls is a non-profit social enterprise based in Nashville, TN, which creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world.

This year in January, they visited India to distribute shoes.

SOS (SOLES4SOULS) visited local schools and orphanages where they help with the sizing, washing, and fitting of feet with new to slightly used shoes. Afterwards, they played games, and interacted with the kids.

While this trip placed much emphasis on direct service, there was also an educational, cultural, and adventure aspect. They toured the “Pink City”, the iconic Taj Mahal and several others – all wonderful opportunities to immerse in the country’s beauty and culture.

And we are proud to say that State Express had the opportunity to plan their 10-day trip to India. We provided with skilled travel coordinators – Rishi and Ajay- who took care of all the planning.

State Express provided transportation, hotels, all meals, security, guides, translators, excursion fees, country entry/exit fees, and flight information to ensure utmost convenience to Soles4Souls for this noble cause!

We did a tour with Soles4Souls and State Express in January. I can’t fault my experience and time. It wasn’t the usual tour for guides Rishi and Ajay from State Express and driver Bunty, as we were going into schools giving out shoes as well as visiting the tourist attractions but they embraced the experience as much as we did. They looked after us from the beginning to the end and went out of their way to make our trip memorable and enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, they even managed to get us tickets to the republic day parade what an experience! I felt relaxed knowing I was taken very good care ….
